 Week 8: 

Encoding and Scanning Collaboration


     In the eighth week of my OJT at DENR, Monday kicked off with encoding tasks, where I diligently inputted lot data into the system. Despite the routine, the excitement of learning something new always lingered.Midweek brought a pause with Tuesday and Wednesday marked as holidays. However, our commitment to our responsibilities remained unwavering. Upon returning to the office on Thursday and Friday, our focus shifted to scanning Lot Data Computation (LDC) records.

    During the scanning process, Kuya Marvin, a senior colleague, saw the opportunity to optimize our efforts by utilizing both available scanners. He asked me to assist them, and I gladly jumped in to help. With efficient teamwork, we managed to scan documents swiftly and accurately. Meanwhile, my other classmates took charge of researching based on given lot data. Their dedication and effort ensured that our records remained comprehensive and up-to-date.

    By the end of the week, we reflected on the importance of collaboration and teamwork in achieving our goals. Despite the interruptions posed by the holiday break, our collective efforts propelled us forward in supporting DENR's land documentation endeavors.

WEEK 13 - Last Week of Our OJT

WEEK 13  Last Week of Our OJT        In the thirteenth and final week of our OJT journey at DENR, Kuya Senen, one of the employees in DENR, presented us with our last task: to sort all the envelopes. Each envelope was meticulously labeled with designations such as PSD, CSD, TN, SWO, F, FI, GSD, and more. Over the course of two days, Monday and Tuesday, we devoted ourselves to this task, understanding that it was the final assignment of our OJT experience. Working together diligently, we sorted through each envelope, ensuring that they were arranged according to their designated categories.      Once the sorting was completed, Hanna, Ate Mavic, and I transitioned smoothly into the next phase of our task: encoding. With focused determination, we inputted all the necessary information from the sorted envelopes into the system.      Week 7: Encoding of Lot Data Computation      In the seventh week of my OJT at DENR, Monday began like any other workday, with tasks such as encoding Lot Data Computation (LDC) keeping us busy. As the week progressed, we anticipated the upcoming holiday on Wednesday. When the holiday arrived, we took the day off, staying away from the office to enjoy the break. However, our dedication to our responsibilities remained unchanged. Instead of working on the holiday, we planned to resume our tasks the next day.      On Thursday, we returned to the office, ready to pick up where we left off. Despite the interruption of the holiday, we maintained our focus on encoding LDC data and worked diligently to make progress.
