Week 3: Research and Documentation 

    In the third week of our On-the-Job Training (OJT) at DENR, our primary task was to conduct a detailed investigation into the Lot Data Computation (LDC) of Milagros, Masbate Case 3. The objective was to locate the correct sheet based on the provided lot number. Our research scope expanded to cover both Masbate and Bombon provinces, adding complexity to our task. The challenge was to secure the original copy, not duplicates, and verify the validity of the sheets. Sheets marked as void or containing references were deemed invalid. This meticulous investigation went beyond the LDC, extending to researching cadastral maps by case, enriching our understanding of the crucial details necessary for accurate land documentation and mapping within the DENR system.

    Following this detailed research, we successfully located the correct sheet for Milagros, Masbate Case 3. Our team leader then took charge of the subsequent step – scanning the identified sheet, marking a transition toward digital record-keeping for improved accessibility and efficiency.

    However, the process didn't conclude there. Post-scanning, our responsibility was to delicately reintegrate the sheet back into its original book. This meticulous task ensured the sheet's proper order and categorization by cases. The final step underscored the vital importance of maintaining the integrity of physical records alongside their digital counterparts. This combination of research, scanning, and manual organization highlighted the diverse and multifaceted nature of tasks within DENR, emphasizing the significance of precision in handling cadastral data for effective land management.

WEEK 13  Last Week of Our OJT        In the thirteenth and final week of our OJT journey at DENR, Kuya Senen, one of the employees in DENR, presented us with our last task: to sort all the envelopes. Each envelope was meticulously labeled with designations such as PSD, CSD, TN, SWO, F, FI, GSD, and more. Over the course of two days, Monday and Tuesday, we devoted ourselves to this task, understanding that it was the final assignment of our OJT experience. Working together diligently, we sorted through each envelope, ensuring that they were arranged according to their designated categories.      Once the sorting was completed, Hanna, Ate Mavic, and I transitioned smoothly into the next phase of our task: encoding.      Week 7: Encoding of Lot Data Computation      In the seventh week of my OJT at DENR, Monday began like any other workday, with tasks such as encoding Lot Data Computation (LDC) keeping us busy. As the week progressed, we anticipated the upcoming holiday on Wednesday. When the holiday arrived, we took the day off, staying away from the office to enjoy the break. However, our dedication to our responsibilities remained unchanged. Instead of working on the holiday, we planned to resume our tasks the next day.      On Thursday, we returned to the office, ready to pick up where we left off. Despite the interruption of the holiday, we maintained our focus on encoding LDC data and worked diligently to make progress.
